A chrome extension to detect media bias

Directed a team of designers and engineers to create a prototype of a machine learning powered political bias detector. The chrome extension parsed the text of news articles, classified it according to its political direction, and displayed the resulting bias rating to readers. Project ultimately shelved due to lack of training data to maintain the model. Project initially developed at Creative Labs, a UCLA-based student project incubator.
